There will be a new Alpha Seven release shortly. Unlike previous Sofacom recordings, this won’t be available in a physical form – it’s going to be for download only – except for a handful of promotional demo CDs in advance of the launch.
It’s most likely going to be an EP of five tracks. At the moment the final touches are being applied to the mixes ready for pre-mastering so more details will follow in the next few days.
I’m trying to make this one very different. And better. I’ll blog about bits of it that seem interesting to me – for example the track with the Sinclair Scientific pocket calculator, radio and dishwasher.
In the meantime – I need your help. Where do you find about and hear new music? iTunes / MySpace / Facebook / BBC 6 music? Somewhere else? Let me know!
I use Spotify to listen to stuff I am not sure about yet or I have had recommended.
